Bed bug controlBed bug spraying and treatment that goes after the hiding spots and eggs, not the surface

If you keep waking up with bites and cannot find the source, check off the signs you see and we will tell you what they point to. Our bed bug control starts with inspecting the mattress and cracks, and it continues with a follow-up visit timed to when the eggs hatch.

Waking up itchy and bitten? Finding tiny blood spots on the sheets with no idea where they came from?

Why is this happening in your home?

Bed bugs get into a home with a suitcase, a used mattress, or even a sofa moved from another apartment. They then hide in mattress seams, bed corners, and cracks in wooden furniture, and come out only at night. That is why many people go months without understanding the bites.

Why regular spraying does not solve it

Surface spraying kills only what is on the surface, and the eggs stay intact in the cracks. After about a week the eggs hatch and the infestation is back. People assume the pesticide was weak, but the spray never reached the cracks in the first place.

The Kaltex method

What exactly we do when we arrive

  1. 1Careful inspection of mattress seams, bed corners, sofa cracks, and the backs of nightstands
  2. 2Locating infestation sites and eggs before any treatment
  3. 3Fogging that reaches the cracks regular spraying cannot
  4. 4Treating mattresses, beds, and furniture with materials safe for upholstery
  5. 5A follow-up visit after 10 days to treat any eggs that have hatched

Where exactly do we inspect?

Spraying for bed bugs fails when it starts before anyone knows where the bugs are living. A bed bug can fit into a crack thinner than a toothpick, and it stays close to where people sleep. That is why our inspection follows a fixed order:

  • Mattress seams and corners, and the bed base
  • Wooden bed joints and the spots around the screws
  • The back of the headboard and the inside of the nightstand
  • Seams of sofas and upholstered chairs
  • Wall cracks and picture frames near the bed

Why is one visit not enough for bed bugs?

The eggs hatch in about a week, and the new nymphs start looking for food. If a company sprays and leaves, that generation grows up untouched and you end up thinking the pesticide was weak. So we come back after 10 days, then after 21 days, then follow up every two months for the length of the guarantee.

Mistakes that make an infestation worse before we arrive

People do these things with good intentions, and they make the job harder:

  • Sleeping in another room. Bed bugs follow the sleeper, so they move with you
  • Putting the mattress out on the stairs without sealing it in a bag
  • Spraying kerosene or alcohol. Both are a real fire hazard
  • Spraying random pesticide before the inspection, which drives the bugs deeper into hiding

Spraying or extermination? The result matters, not the name

Many people search for "bed bug spraying" or "bed bug extermination" and want the same thing: to sleep without getting bitten. The word itself will not change much for you. What matters is what happens after the technician leaves. If the deal is one visit with no inspection and no follow-up, ask who will deal with the eggs that hatch a week later. And if the infestation is in more than one room or in the sofa, say so from the start, because the plan grows with the size of the infestation.

Kids, pets, and furnishings

We use materials made for indoor use, and before we start we tell you what to do and how long to wait. If there is a baby, someone pregnant, or anyone with asthma or allergies at home, tell us before the visit so we can choose the right method and waiting time, and ask your doctor if you have concerns.

  • The treatment has no odor, and in most cases you will not need to leave home
  • We treat mattresses and beds in a way that suits soft furnishings
  • The team gives you clear instructions before leaving, such as when you can wipe with water

How to prepare the place

  • Do not wash or throw out everything before the inspection. Let the technician see the signs
  • Take a photo of any bug you find, and tell us where the bites are and when they started
  • Tell us if you have tried any pesticide before, what it was called, and where you sprayed it
  • Clear the area around the bed as much as you can so we can reach the corners

Guarantee certificate

3

years

The guarantee covers the pests treated during the visit. If the same problem comes back within this period, we come and treat it.

Follow-up schedule

  • 10 daysFollow-up visit to confirm the result
  • 21 daysSecond follow-up to treat anything still open
  • Every 2 monthsRegular follow-up for the length of the guarantee

Emergency service if any problem comes back during the guarantee

Written, not verbal

A guarantee with a schedulebeats a longer guarantee

Some companies promise 5 years and others promise 10. The question to ask is: what happens after the technician leaves?

Our answer is in writing. Three follow-up visits on set dates, plus emergency service if a problem appears at any time during the guarantee. The visit after 10 days is not a formality. That is when bed bug eggs hatch, and if it passes without treatment, the infestation comes back.

Questions about bed bugs

Does bed bug spraying work the first time?

Usually not, and be careful with anyone who promises that it will. The eggs hatch in about a week, so a follow-up has to catch the new generation. Our first follow-up is after 10 days, and the second is after 21 days.

Do I have to throw out my mattress?

Usually not. The mattress can be treated, and in heavy infestations it can be sealed in a special cover. Throwing it out without treating the rest of the room will not end the infestation, and carrying it down the stairs can spread the bugs.

Do bed bugs come from being unclean?

No. Bed bugs need blood, not garbage, and the cleanest homes can get them. They usually arrive with a suitcase, used furniture, or clothes, or from a neighboring apartment.

My neighbors have bed bugs. Will that affect me?

It can. Bed bugs travel long distances in a night and move through wall openings and pipes. If your neighbors have them, it is best to treat at the same time so the infestation does not move back.

Can I sleep in the room after treatment?

Yes in most cases, after the waiting time the technician gives you, which depends on the type of treatment. Old bites can stay visible for a few days, and that does not mean the treatment failed.

How do I know the treatment worked?

New bites stop, no new spots appear on a light-colored sheet, and you find no live bugs in the mattress seams for several weeks. The follow-up visits confirm this.
